Securing our borders
Congressman Steve Stockman sponsored a constitutional amendment to prevent birthright citizenship and benefits to babies of illegal aliens, and sponsored a bill declaring English the official language of the United States.
Protecting our gun rights
Steve also sponsored a bill eliminating background checks, waiting periods, and registration for firearms purchases. Furthermore, he is endorsed by the Gun Owners of America and the Texas State Rifle Association.
Protecting the inalienable right to life
Congressman Steve Stockman sponsored the ban on Partial Birth Abortions as well as a bill making it federal law that life begins at conception.

Congressman Steve Stockman sponsored the Defense of Marriage Act to stop federal recognition of homosexual marriage.

Congressman Steve Stockman sponsored the Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution, and has never voted for a tax hike. He was named “The Taxpayer’s Friend” by the National Taxpayers Union for his “A” score as one of the strongest supporters of responsible tax and spending policies.
